  • Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Bernhard Kast
  • Bernhard designs and implements the software infrastructure, he works in close collaboration with the JAviator and Dune teams and uses their existings software.


  • Concurrent Programming Models: Eduardo Marques
  • Eduardo has been working on communication infrastructures for different autonomous vehicles, UAV underwater acoustic communications in particular, he was also involved with the Dune messaging system and gives feedback and advices in developing the infrastructure.


  • Dune Interface: Ricardo Martins
  • Ricardo is the main developer of Dune, hence he provides insight information about important interfaces. He has also quite an experience with the gumstix.


  • JAviator Interface: Rainer Trummer
  • Rainer designed the JAviator and knows the existing structure of the JAviator control software very well, hence he advices the other team members on issues relating to the JAviator and helicopters.


  • Project Supervisor: Christoph Kirsch
  • Christoph helps everyone through problems that they encounter. He comes into contact with all team members the most frequently and thus serves as both a liaison between team members and overall vision proponent.
